  2. Where are you from?

I am Italian and I live in the Veneto region.

  3. What do you study or do for a living?

    I am an engineer.

  4. What hobbies do you have?

I always had the LEGO hobby. I like to build them, but above all I like to design them digitally. I like travelling and I love nature.

  5. Have you created any LEGO MOCs (my own creations) that you’re particularly proud of? What is it, why are you proud of it and do you have a photo of it?

In addition to my latest MOC, "The Alpine Refuge", I am particularly proud of the project "The Walking Bridge". With this idea, I managed to recreate a walkway supported by tie rods, made of LEGO elements, with the same principle as real structures of this type.

  6. How and when did your interest in LEGO products come about?

I started being interested in LEGO products as a child when my first sets were given to me.

  7. What is the LEGO hobby to you? What does it mean to you? How does it fit in your life? E.g. build, display, meetups, play the games or 'just' watch the cartoons.

Building LEGO sets is a very relaxing pastime for me. Furthermore, designing them digitally allows me to express my imagination and creativity to the fullest. I like the satisfaction of creating something that originates from the sum of many small parts that, taken individually, have a limited meaning.

  8. What is your favourite LEGO theme (current or past)? Why? And has any theme inspired your building style or preference in any particular way?

As my alias, TheCastleFan suggests, my favourite theme has always been Castle. But there is also the Pirates theme which is certainly no less interesting.

  9. What is your favourite official LEGO set ever? Why?

It's hard to tell. I think my favourite official set has always been "Eldorado Fortress".

  10. What is your favourite LEGO element? Why?

My favourite LEGO element is the gold coins and the chest that contains them. I wish they were still being made.
